This voice controlled LED headlight from HOTLIGH is another great product in their line. Their flashlights are second to none in terms of brightness and durability. They're all made out of high strength material which makes them great for outdoors use such as fishing, hiking, climbing, construction sites etc. This light has an added feature that I've never seen before. The light is voice controlled! Aside from the basic features like spotlight and floodlight, this light can be controlled with simple voice commands. You just push the voice command button which activates the feature and speak simple commands and the light will respond. It can be turned on, off, dimmed and brightened, plus, you can also switch between modes. This is a great feature if you don't have the use of your hands at the moment. You simply say on or off and the light will do whatever you command it to do. Right down to dimming.

The light is ultra bright with 3 modes to choose from and it also has a turbo mode that you can activate by simply pressing the power button twice. This gives you super bright light in the event of an emergency situation. The headlamp has stepless dimming and goes from 20 lumens all the way up to a whopping 1,000 lumens. Should the removable rechargeable battery run low, this flashlight can be powered with three AAA alkaline batteries. The headlamp has an angling feature that can aim the light up to 60° plus, it can be removed from the headband strap and placed on any metal surface where it will stay because of the powerful magnets that are built into the back side of the mount.

So, with this light you're not only getting a standard LED flashlight that is ultra bright but you also get a light that can be operated totally hands-free, and can be mounted virtually anywhere in an emergency situation. All of this for under $30. How could you go wrong? This is a great light for sporting, outdoor events or for use in the garage. Love the head lamp. It pretty comfortable and has great brightness settings, - at the top end this is very bright ..at the dim end really quite mellow at least for the user 😁 no doubt it is still annoying to anyone out in front of you ;) The angle adjustment is not the best however I mainly use this to work on things in front of me 👇 downward 👇. That keeps it out of other eyes and also keep me from leaving it on inadvertently. This doesn't seem to go forward fully as expected ( as others have anyway). The light module can slide out of the head lamp and had magnetic back side - this is pretty cool too! There are two buttons on the lamp body one is for manual operation , toogle through , and long press / short press type of functions. The other button activates voice control and assumably turns off voice control as well but I feel it also times out as well. I usually just end up hitting the first ( manual button to fix the light and this seems to end voice control by interruption ) . Once voice is activated it works well- if your in a quiet area. In noisy areas where others are talking it can , it csn change settings or shut off , tools can cause the same - for the most part I don't feel I need to use the voice mode in such situations anyway so it's not a big deal to me ... I'm fine with manual operation most of the time. Where the voice commands are most useful is when you have it set up as a light that is not on your person - such as in your tent , inside a trailer , up high or when you need to change settings specifically and toggling is inefficient. It would be cool if you could wake up in your tent after hours and command it on or even find it by turning it on but I have not seen this work - for me. This is why I think it times out after X amount of time with no command. UNSURE what that time is though -i just know I can't turn it off in that mode and command it on after several hours;) again 😅 when I do find it it still has charge so that is not the problem.. On that note I do suggest opening it and learning the commands right away . I basically charged it and took in to an event 🤞still hoping to run across the booklet and box which I'm kicking myself about misplacing - luckily good video and pictures helped to work out most of what I had not figured out yet . My favorite part about this head lamp is that it is rechargeable not only that but it can take AAAs batteries in a pinch. This is a great backup option for long late night load outs .. I haven't needed to swap out though. I try to use the dimmest light I can. The brightest setting definitely shortens the time you get. Remembering to shut it off when in bright areas - I try to shut it off as I approach well lit areas and other people as well. This is lightweight actually more so than some others I've had in the past and although somewhat tedious to set length on the strap initially it does hold the adjustment really well & never slips. 👍

This is by far the best headlamp I’ve ever owned. It holds a charge well, but I absolutely love that it also takes AA batteries as a backup. This is HUGE! It’s an instant win for anyone who wants that option, but especially for a headlamp, because it adds a layer of protection in any circumstance where light means survival (like caving).

It's the brightest headlamp I’ve ever had, and there are plenty of brightness settings to dial in exactly what you need, whether you're doing something up close or need a longer throw. The silicone lining on the inside of the strap keeps it securely in place on your head.

And it's waterproof! I haven’t needed to test that out, but I don’t really have any plans to. I just like that if I’m caught in the rain I don’t need to worry about it.

The light itself has a magnetic back so you can detach it from the strap and stick it to any magnetic surface; super handy for hands-free light in a tent, under the hood of a car, or anywhere else you might need it.

Another thing I haven’t tested out yet is the voice control feature. I’m looking forward to trying it, and I would have already, but I’ve been using it on the go and haven’t yet taken the time to learn how (though looking back over the info it sounds pretty intuitive).

I can’t recommend this gadget more. It’s a winner.
